Colby, WI − Excel Engineering, Inc. was awarded the contract to design a 90,000 sq. ft. dairy plant expansion for Welcome Dairy.

In January, Forty participates competed in “Excel’s Biggest Loser Challenge”. The challenge consisted of four teams of 10 people trying their best to be fit, dedicated and healthy. For four months teams weighed in bi-weekly trying to prove they were the fittest and most dedicated participant.
Excel’s forty participants lost a total of 742.8 pounds!
Excel’s “Biggest Loser” was Chris Guenther, Senior Designer of Excel’s Industrial/IT Team – with a weight loss percentage of 23.75%! Not far behind was Tom Lombardo, Senior Technician of Excel’s Commercial/Process Team with a weight loss percentage of 21.27%!
The First Place Team went to the Civil/MEP group. They lost a total of 9.47% – amounting to 197.8 total pounds. The Civil/MEP Team consisted of Randy Lietz, Doug Elgersma, Eric Drazkowski, Max Franzen, Jason Daye, Ashley Rhines, Adam Gronert, Heidi Wondra, Tim Stoppleworth and Kurt Barnard.
The Second Place Team went to the Industrial/IT group. They lost a total of 9.14% – amounting to 212.2 pounds. The Industrial/IT Team consisted of Chris Guenther, Christopher O’Connor, Lisa Dickmann, Larry Van Den Berg, Kurt Konkol, Shawn King, Dave Koenes, Jake Reis, Kevin Clinard and Jim Krizenesky.
