This tech savvy room was recently added during our renovation and addition, and is one of our most used conference rooms for both internal meetings and client visits. Now Hiring! Excel is looking for a Plumbing Designer to join our team.

A plumbing designer has advanced ability in preparation of construction documents. This advanced ability includes areas of design, AutoCad, code knowledge, construction documents and construction practices. This individual will be the primary person in charge of preparation of construction documents for projects and will occasionally oversee and coordinate the work of technicians.

Requirements: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is desirable. Applicable license is not required.

Minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing design.

Today on our Tuesday Tour of Excel, we’re taking a stroll through our electrical department. These gentlemen complete electrical systems design for commercial and industrial buildings across the country. Working on approximately 300-400 projects a year, the team produces construction documents for the in-field electrical contractor to perform installation work. From lighting design, power distribution, receptacle & motor layouts, to load calculations and more – these electrical experts are a one-stop shop for all of our clients’ electrical design needs!
