NOW HIRING – Technology Technician / Computer Specialist


Technology Technician 1 (75%) – Under supervision by Excel Technology Manager, the Technology Technician would perform hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of AV and other low-voltage systems for our residential and commercial clients.

Computer Specialist (25%) – Under supervision by Information Systems Manager, the Computer Specialist is the primary support person on help desk and is responsible for performing hardware and software installation, compatibility, maintenance, and support for Windows based computers and all system users. This position provides backup when Network Administrator and Information Systems Manager are out of the office.

Requirements: Associate Degree is required.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years.

Rotating Equipment Repair, a Sussex firm that services equipment in the petroleum, steel, nuclear and pulp industries, has a 55,000 square foot plant expansion underway that is expected to create about 30 new jobs.

The expansion is scheduled to be complete in May 2016 and has been fueled by the company’s growth in the U.S. and international markets.

Currently, Rotating Equipment Repair has 70 employees. The company was founded in 1982 by three former Allis Chalmers employees.

We’re Hiring – Construction Representative

NOW HIRING! Excel is looking for a Construction Representative to join our team!

The Construction Representative will work in conjunction with Excel Project Architects and Engineers to provide construction administration services for large or selected Excel projects. They will represent Excel Engineering on-site and provide an important communication conduit between the owner, contractor and design team during construction. The basic role is to observe the work and advise the Owner and/or Excel of the progress and quality of the work. They will attend regularly scheduled job site meetings and record observations. The position requires travel. They will participate in proposal presentations and prepare construction cost estimates and constructability reviews. At the end of each construction project, they will document plan deficiencies and work with the design staff to ensure they are corrected in future projects.
